Introduction

Einführung

Adjectives in the accusative case change in a very similar way to those in the nominative case. The feminine, neutral and plural forms are identical. The only difference is that masculine singular nouns take a ~en ending no matter whether it comes after der-word, ~ein-word or stands on its own:

der hohe Baum
the tall tree

Ich sehe die hohen Baum.
I see the tall tree.

ein hoher Baum
a tall tree

Ich sehe einen hohen Baum.
I see a tall tree.

hehen Baum
tall tree
