Introduction

Einführung

Also known as the command tense, the imperative mood is used to issue direct commands, make requests, and issue calls to action.

It has no first-person (ich and wir) conjugation, as it is impossible to issue yourself commands.

Likewise, the imperative also has no third-person singular - er (he) and sie (she) - conjugation.

For sie commands, used in the formal "you" address and for groups of people, the unconjugated verb is simply combined with Sie said afterwards - lesen Sie ("Read you guys").
